Advantages of UDI suction filters:
UDI suction filters have been designed to be fitted in the suction line, before the pump. This protects the pump against damage and/or blockage, preventing trouble, repairs, and energy loss. The inlet and outlet are fitted horizontally across the filter housing. The filter body holds a filter bucket made of 3 or 5 mm perforated stainless steel plate. The spindle fastener on the housing means it is a simple matter to empty the filter bucket. The filter is of robust design to cause as little pressure loss as possible in the suction line.
