Advantages of UDI strainers:
UDI strainers are designed to be fitted in the suction or pressure line, before or after the pump. The pump is thus protected against damage and/or blockage, which prevents trouble, repairs and energy loss. The inlet and outlet are fitted horizontally across the filter body.
The filter body holds a filter screen made of 3 mm perforated stainless steel plate. The filter is of robust design to cause as little pressure loss as possible in the suction line. UDI strainers are available from 2" to 24" and in capacities of up to 2,000 m³/h.
