Advantages of the UDI Filtron:
The Filtron is a modular backflushing controller with 2 to 10 stations for automation of filters. The controller is available in AC (alternating current) and DC (direct current) versions with 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 connections.
The AC model has an internal transformer that can be supplied 110 or 220 V and generates the 24 V AC required by the solenoids.
The DC model can be supplied with 6 or 12 V. The battery provides the voltage required for the solenoids to switch.
Flushing cycles can be activated at pre-set, fixed times, but also when the external DP (differential pressure) sensor with dry contact reaches a pre-set point.
Endless looping problems can be prevented by detecting repeated consecutive cycles which exceed a pre-set limit. The controller can, as an option, be modified for use with a pressure-maintenance/main valve and an alarm output.
The controller counts separately the number of flushing cycles activated by the DP sensor, by the timer and manually.
